Who they are
A CRM built around shed lead response
Velocity 360 describes itself as a white-glove, done-for-you sales engine for shed builders, carport manufacturers and metal building dealers. The platform handles lead response, quote follow-up, reviews and reporting, and the Velocity 360 team builds and launches the system for each client.
The company started as Knowledge Gap Consulting, a sales consulting firm led by founder and CEO Joe Ignace, and rebranded in early 2024 to turn its consulting playbooks into software. It is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and says it works with more than 300 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
In their words
We automate the administrative chase so your team can focus exclusively on closing sales
That line comes from Velocity 360's own description of its approach. The company pairs the software with a done-for-you setup and U.S.-based phone support.
Core workflows
Four workflows built into the platform
As Velocity 360 describes them on its website.
60-second speed to lead
Every inquiry from a website form, Facebook ad, Google ad or lead form gets a text and an email within 60 seconds.
75-day nurture
Leads that go quiet get one or two follow-ups a week for 75 days.
Automated quote follow-up
Each quote triggers a text, and stalled quotes get follow-ups for three to six weeks.
Automated reviews

Velocity 360, CRM and sales automation for shed, steel and carport businesses
Velocity 360 sells a CRM and sales automation platform to the businesses that sell outdoor structures: portable shed builders, carport manufacturers, metal building and pole barn dealers, and the multi-lot networks that connect them. The company is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and says it works with more than 300 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Velocity 360 is the exclusive CRM provider for the Shed Geek Media Network, alongside PlayMor, Stryker Hunting Blinds and Pittsburgh Paints Co. in their own categories. Plans, setup details and the demo booking form are on the Velocity 360 website.
Where it came from
Velocity 360 started as a sales consulting company. Founder and CEO Joe Ignace ran it as Knowledge Gap Consulting, and by the company's own timeline the first two years were spent inside client businesses, fixing sales processes by hand. The About page says demand outgrew the hours in the day, so the company rebranded as Velocity 360 in early 2024 and began turning those playbooks into software. Joe's background is commission-only sales. His bio on the company site credits him with more than 7,000 hours knocking doors and says he trained 43 straight-commission reps.
Shed Geek listeners met him before the CRM existed. In June 2023, Season 3, Episode 37, Joe sat down with Shannon as the head of The Knowledge Gap Company, and Joe and other Knowledge Gap consultants came back for episodes in July, August and October 2024. Joseph Ignace, The Knowledge Gap is the 2023 conversation.
What it does on a shed lot
Velocity 360 builds the product around the first few weeks of a lead's life. Its site describes four core workflows:
- Speed to lead. Every inquiry from a website form, Facebook ad, Google ad or lead form gets a text and an email within 60 seconds.
- 75-day nurture. Leads that go quiet get one or two follow-ups a week for 75 days. The homepage counts 14 automated touchpoints.
- Quote follow-up. Each quote triggers a text message, and quotes that stall get follow-ups for three to six weeks. Velocity 360 cites a roughly 40 percent open rate for email against 98 percent for text.
- Automated reviews. After a sale or delivery, a text and email sequence asks the buyer for a Google and Meta review.
Around those workflows sits the everyday CRM. Calls, texts, emails and Facebook messages land in one inbox, so a rep follows a buyer in one thread. Leads route to reps or lots by assignment rules, with lead scoring and smart lists for working the hot ones first, plus mass email and text campaigns for waking up an old database. Reporting ties each closed sale back to the ad or source that produced it, and a dashboard tracks response time, conversations and close rates across locations.
The show notes for the October 27, 2025 episode add a few specifics: a built-in phone system that texts back missed calls, automations that pause once the buyer replies so a person takes over, e-signature, calendars and review replies inside the platform, and permissions and routing for setups from a single lot to a 33-location network. The December 10, 2025 notes mention AI call summaries that feed the operations and delivery teams.
Integrations, including Shed Pro
The integrations page frames the product as a hub that connects the tools a shop already uses. It lists Shed Pro, IdeaRoom, Shed Suite, Digital Shed Builder, MyShed, SmartBuild, The Shed App, Sensei, ShedsForSale.com, Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Cal Can Help, which has its own Shed Geek profile on the CAL page. The homepage calls out Shed Pro, IdeaRoom and Shed Suite by name, the integrations page lists Shed Pro as an official integration partner, and anything with an open API can connect as well.
According to Velocity 360's blog, configurator integrations run on webhooks. When a customer saves a design or asks for a quote, the dimensions, materials, doors, windows and price estimate go straight into Velocity 360, and the automated follow-up refers to that specific building. The integrations page describes three more behaviors: an estimate sent from a connected system shows up under "Quoted," a paid estimate moves the deal to "Won" and starts the post-sale sequence, and conversion data can be shared back to ad platforms. The scope of each integration is a question for Velocity 360 and the other vendor, so confirm what syncs in your setup.
Setup and support
The company handles the build for you. Its homepage says the team completes compliance work, SMS registration (A2P), phone porting and email authentication, and that a full launch takes 37 days. The terms of service describe a 37 to 49 day target window, with seven more days when a desk phone is involved, and say the timeline holds when the client attends meetings, delivers assets on time and keeps to one round of revisions. Velocity 360 also advertises U.S.-based phone support, with a direct line answered by a domestic team.
Pricing and contract terms
Velocity 360 does not publish prices on its website. The terms of service describe four service levels (Basic, White Glove, All-Inclusive and Elite Managed) and say the tier, term and limits are set in each proposal. For agreements that start on or after September 6, 2026, the terms exclude month-to-month plans and call for a 12-month or 36-month commitment. Calls, texts, emails and AI usage are billed separately from the subscription through a prepaid wallet with auto-recharge. Ask for the current proposal and the usage rate sheet before you sign.
What Velocity 360 reports about results
Everything in this section is Velocity 360's own reporting, and Shed Geek has not audited it. The homepage says the company guarantees a 60 percent lead response rate and lists a 12-month baseline of 20 percent or more revenue growth and 25 percent or more close rate growth. The benchmarks page says that across more than 25,000 shed leads in its system, over 60 percent of closes came more than 30 days after the lead first appeared. The same page notes that its conversion figures show correlation without proving cause, and that they depend on how consistently each location enters leads.
One case study the company points to repeatedly is Secure Storage Sheds, a multi-lot shed manufacturer that onboarded in November 2024. On its case study page, Velocity 360 reports 167 percent revenue growth, an average sales price that moved from $7,591 to $8,913, and total leads processed that rose from 1.5K to 1.72K. Owner and operator Jeremy Gaither is quoted there on his daily routine: "Every morning now I come in, I look at how many leads came in yesterday, what our closing percentages are... the dashboard is what I can't live without." The shed case study list also includes Wisconsin Backyard Sheds, Weaver Portable Buildings, North Mountain Structures, Dutch Country Furniture and Dutch Boy Barns. Each carries its own headline figure on the Velocity 360 site, so check numbers with the companies directly if they matter to your decision.
Who it is built for
Velocity 360 lists portable sheds, metal buildings, carports, garages, pole barns, post frame, barndominiums, greenhouses, garden centers, gazebos, playgrounds and playsets among the businesses it serves. A recruiting version of the platform serves insurance agencies and hiring firms, and the case study list also reaches into financial services, real estate and other local businesses outside the outdoor structure world.
Episode by episode
Velocity 360 has come back to the show several times. The three most recent episodes are in the videos above, and the show notes describe all four this way.
- Season 5, Episode 91, October 27, 2025. "STEEL KINGS: From Lost Leads to Loyal Buyers with Velocity360." Joe Ignace and Brandan Tobin lay out a sales equation of leads times conversion times average price, and talk about raising the middle term with 60-second response, multi-day follow-up and one inbox. Listen to the Steel Kings episode.
- Season 5, Episode 105, December 10, 2025. "How A Sales-First CRM Turns Slow Follow-Ups Into Closed Deals." Speed to lead in under 60 seconds, at least 14 automated follow-ups, AI call summaries and clean attribution. The notes say the guests shared dealer wins that included doubled conversion rates and 25 percent revenue growth in a single quarter.
- Season 6, Episode 42, April 29, 2026. "How Much Revenue Are You Losing To Silence." The teams behind Shed Pro and Velocity 360 map the path from a Google search to a signed contract and a scheduled delivery. The order they describe starts with lead generation (a strong website, Google Ads and a buying-friendly 3D configurator) and then adds one place to capture every lead and measure attribution.
- Season 6, Episode 64, July 15, 2026. "If Leads Are Not The Problem Then What Is." Joe and Brandan on the sales velocity formula and human capacity: when reps are buried in manual steps they cannot respond quickly or keep relationships warm. They also preview their Shed Expo talk on wasted ad spend and converting digital shed leads before they ghost.
Velocity 360 is also named in the sponsor line of Season 6 episodes starting in February 2026, and its own Trusted Partners page lists Shed Geek. The company's site also recaps its Scaling Sales on Autopilot Conference, held January 23, 2026 at Jackson Terminal in Knoxville, with speakers from Velocity 360, Shed Pro and other firms.
